Seems like all the newborns I’ve been photographing have all been girls but when I found out that one of my former brides just had a baby boy I was ecstatic. So on Monday I finally got to meet and photograph 11-day-old little J and he was adorable! We started inside for a few shots but soon realized he loved being in the outdoor heat. With the help of mom and his big sis, we were able to get some cute shots! Check out some of my favorites…

Woodstock Church of Christ Egg Hunt | Woodstock Ga Photography

Okay, so we really conquered the day! This was one of the craziest weekends I’ve had in awhile just because I was trying to fit everything in one day before a Sunday wedding. After the first egg hunt and 3 hrs. later, headed to Woodstock Church of Christ for an egg hunt with our church family and friends. And what I’ve learned from the egg hunts is that when kids are on a hunt don’t even bother talking to them because they are on a mission. I have never seen so many eggs in one day! I do believe that we are good with chocolates and candies for a while after this weekend. Thanks Brenna for all your hard work.

We came, we hunted & we conquered! | Milton GA Photography

Well, so to speak. The kids actually are the ones who conquered. My talented and high-energy friend, Lindsey B., invited us for an egg hunt at her home in Milton, GA and boy was there a lot of eggs! All the kids ventured into the bunny trail, the wetland preserve that Lindsey actually created and through the vegetable garden. After opening the eggs and checking out their loot everyone enjoyed a great lunch. What a great time the kids had and we even got great weather! Thanks Lindsey B. for the wonderful invite!

This was a shoot I was really looking forward too. The moment I met Emily and Koreen I knew this family shoot was going to be fun! A little history, these two ladies have been friends for a long time and now with girls of their own that are great friends as well. When we arrived to for the shoot we had a smorgasbord of props! We started the shoot with some family photos and then the two little girls got all dolled up in tutus for a little tea time. Thanks ladies for the fun shoot. Check out how super cute they are!

High School Senior {Baseball & Softball} | Woodstock, GA

This high school senior photo session was not your typical senior shoot because not only did I have one but two seniors who are dating! We started our adventure at their second home the Woodstock High School baseball field right before it started raining but that didn’t stop these two from playing in the rain. After a few fun shots we ventured out to downtown Woodstock where we found some great spots. At some point I almost forgot that I was doing a senior shoot and not an engagement, they were just so cute and a fun high school senior couple. But right before ending our shoot we headed out to an open field and just enough time to get more fun shots of them as individuals and as a couple and I must say they look GORGEOUS!

Cousins! Mini Session Woodstock Church of Christ | Woodstock GA

This was such a special shoot for me because the very 1st wedding I have ever photographed in Georgia was Charlie’s parents! Ms. Charlie is not only cute but was so great to work with. Just like her mommy & daddy, this little 10 day old was laid back and was willing to try new things , even surprised me with a few moves of her own behind the scenes of course. I just feel so special so be such a great part of this family. Congratulations Jason & Emily on your precious little Charlie!

Sequoyah & Cherokee High School | Senior Project | Canton GA

Once a year I normally receive several calls from high school seniors looking for a mentor in photography for their senior project, this year I am mentoring Savannah from Cherokee High School. I’m always excited for the final product because they are bringing to life their vision. This year I’ve taken Savannah to several sessions to show her what goes on behind the scene before and after a shoot in a small scale. And last week we head out to downtown Canton, GA to photograph Sequoyah junior Josh as my 2012 senior rep along with two young ladies. Check out some of my favorites!
